The facts are the same as practice activity 2.9.

In addition, on July 28, 5 staplers were returned to Good Work Ltd. The staplers had exterior marks due to the way they were packed together. Madam Ebere decided to keep the five staplers, but she insisted that there must be a discount due to the change in their outward appearance. Good Work Ltd decided to give Madam Ebere a 5% discount on the staplers.

The number of the previously issued Debit Note was 1013.

Required:

i. Prepare the Debit Note that will be issued to Good Work Ltd; and

ii.Record the transactions in the Purchases returns day book for July 2019.
